Via a video presentation on their Twitter feed, Zilliqa released a roadmap of their vision for their Metapolis platform roll out.
The Roadmap’s structure includes the following:
Phase One (seemingly the current Phase as of this writing), where we can expect the setting up of infrastructure such as Telegram and Discord servers; onboarding of partners; releases of teaser videos; the Project Roadmap release and that of the Zilliqa City Roadmap; the environment build of Zilliq City; and various public introductions to the project.
Phase Two is envisioned to include Zilliqa City open for testing, and then public launch. Features such as NFT integration, e-Commerce, land & city sales, along with functionality to include sound, Web/ AR and basic analytics will be included in this Phase. It seems that the group plans to continue building frameworks in this time frame as they show initiatives such as creation of buildings and apparel happening alongside the public’s initial use of the offering.
In Phase Three we can expect more advanced features such as avatar communication, non-player character inclusion, a “Daily Tasks and User Engagement Module”, along with advertising tech going live. VIP subscriptions and play-to-earn & F2E elements are slated to be included in this phase, fleshing out what Zilliqa and others have called “expanding layers of engagement” between and for users, fans, creators, and advertisers on the platform.
Phase Four is where we can expect to see the app release, along with staking, interactive VR, along with surround sound & VR concerts.
